Pics!

Posted on

A little behind on posts once again…

Here are some great pics that we have taken recently!

Before our appointment (which went great!) at Dartmouth, Ben practiced his driving skills.

Naked baby! Naked baby!

Helping Mom with laundry.

Sometimes he just looks at us and laughs and laughs…!

I spy the curl !

Hanging out in the yard, showing off his sitting abilities!

Probably the most mis-matched outfit we could ever put on him.

He looooooves his piano!

Our Little Prodigy

Posted on

Daddy brought Ben home a gift last week … his very first piano!

During his first piano session, Benjamin was not quite sure what to do with this new contraption…

He looked at it, he shook it, he rolled it over…

Of course, he just ended up trying to eat it, as usual!

The next time around, however, we discovered our virtuoso`s hidden talents!

Mystic Seaport

Posted on

This past weekend we also got to go to Mystic Seaport with Grandma Hyatt, Lauren, and Sachem. Although Ben really is not old enough to appreciate it, it was a beautiful day and we enjoyed ourselves!

Ben was the only soul brave enough to dare the crashing seas and the rogue whale…

But after that crazy stunt above, our little thrill seeker was down for the count for the rest of the day!

And now, he eats!

Last night we attempted to give Benjamin some rice cereal for the very first time!

Earlier in the day I brought the high chair down and did a `test run.` As you can see, he was pretty proud to be up there!

The rice cereal was not quite as big a hit, however….

The Papasan Chair

Posted on

After the beach, we headed over to Moodus for a wedding and some quality time with Grandma Hyatt. She has a big papasan chair in her kitchen, and we discovered that is the perfect place for Benjamin to hang out! It is fluffy and comfy, with room to wiggle around, but he is still too little to `escape!`

The chunky monkey was pretty tired after his adventures at the beach and the late night at the wedding!

Narragansett

Posted on

This past weekend we spent a few days in Narragansett, RI at the beach! The weather was beautiful, and we all had a great time! Ben may have thought it was a bit hot, but he did great otherwise!

Chillin with dad…

One of the best things about the beach is the early morning walks!

And, of course, Dad had to show Ben how to scatter the once-peaceful groups of seagulls….

Poppy and Ben ponder the complexities of life and discuss the Red Sox vs Yankees as they watch the waves…

Katja`s Visit

Posted on

Katja came home to visit! Unfortunately, her husband Matt could not come due to work obligations, but that just means that they will have to plan another trip home soon!

By the time we got around to taking pictures, Ben was pretty hungry… so this is about as close to a smile as we got!

Earlier in the day, though, it was pretty warm and we got Ben in his pool!

He is starting to get the whole `splashing` thing, too!

Rollin, Rollin, Rollin…

Posted on

And he is finally rolling! It truly is amazing at how quickly then learn. He rolled over once or twice on Thursday, and these were the adventures with Dad on Friday:

He makes it over here, but it is not without some gritty persistence!

Fast forward 8 minutes (literally)… and he is a pro!

Exciting Ride

I have to apologize, I am a bit behind in uploading videos!

As you can tell, Benjamin was VERY impressed with his first walk the big boy way in his stroller…

Good Morning!

I think I have mentioned before at Ben`s mood when he wakes up. Hopefully he will continue to wake up this happy as he gets older!
