Benjamin turned the big 0.5 last week!
We celebrated with a rousing round of `Happy Birthday` and the obligatory candle-in-the-sweet-potato. Quite a night it was.

Mmmmm Avocado!
I while back I wrote about how Benjamin was not really enjoying his rice cereal…
I just want to reassure all that out little chunky monkey was a quick convert, and he is now thoroughly enjoying his food!
Labor Day
We had absolutely beautiful weather over the long weekend! Josh took advantage of that and the extra day off to build a chimney for a woodstove in the basement.
Josh worked hard all weekend…this was on Saturday morning, when work had barely started.

And while he was not supervising, Scooter, Ben and I hung out, well, watching Josh work!
Ben`s New Hat
Grandma Hyatt brought up the cutest hat for Benjamin to wear this winter.
Really, he was thrilled to try it on!
Fun with Beans
We grew some crazy long beans in the garden this year, and we were just able to pick our first batch. Although Benjamin does not eat beans yet, he certainly did have fun playing with one!
