The Toy Basket

Posted on

Most of Benjamin`s toys are in his big red toy basket. It is pretty fun to tip it over and pull things out! Recently he discovered that it is equally as fun to sit right in it! Why play with one toy when you can play with them all?!

Lentil Stew! Hooray!

Posted on

I made Ben some lentil stew this weekend, and I was not too sure if he would like it. I admit, lentil stew is no pears and blueberries. As you will see, he is also starting to want to feed himself.  He feeds himself his own bottle now!

A Day in the Life…

Posted on

Here we have about 20 minutes in the life of Benjamin.  At first I was trying to simply get a nice picture of him in his headless Charlie Brown onesie…but that was easier said than done!

When in the right mood, taking the camera out now means `make a funny face for mommy.`

Next we play with a block.

Then we make a funny face!

Then we talk to the block.

Then we pull ourselves up and play up top a bit.

Then we sit back down and open the mailbox, close the mailbox, open the mailbox, close the mailbox… .

Then we YELL!

And THEN we decide that the camera is much more interesting than the silly play house….!!

Lucky.

We are lucky indeed. Benjamin does not mind dressing up in whatever we feel like putting on him.  We can even usually get him to smile. :)

Full House!

Posted on

We had a house full of Nuzzelillos this weekend! Poppy, Grandma Margaret, Shannon, Kalia and Tala were all here.

It was rather chilly, so we bundled Ben up in his fleece suit for the first time.

And…..to the left!

Ben thinks he can stand on his own. He is not quite there yet, but we are getting there!

Happy Halloween!

Posted on

Benjamin dressed up as a dinosaur for Halloween!

Benjamin and dad hang out on the front step, waiting for the three trick or treaters that showed.

Here Benjamin practices his best dinosaur attack pose.

Ben was, of course, a good sport and allowed himself to be dressed up all night. What can a little boy do while dressed up in a dinosaur costume, you ask?

Dinosaurs can jump in jumperoos!

Dinosaurs can see through their lips!

Dinosaurs can hold up ginormous pumpkins!

Dinosaurs can read the newspaper!

Dinosaurs can eat pumpkin ducks while looking the other way!

Dinosaurs can take off their heads and really go to work on pumpkin ducks!

While said head is removed, dinosaurs can be silly with googly eyes!

Dinosaurs can stand on the couch.

Dinosaurs can strike a pose while standing on the couch!

And dinosaurs can just generally have a good time. Fun stuff, playing in the cushions!
