Sprinklers!

Posted on

We just had our first really warm weekend of the spring and Josh did some watering of the grass. He did not hesitate to introduce Benjamin to the sprinklers!

Playing in the water was fun…

But running away from the water started coming at him was even more fun!

Another Park!

Posted on

For a boy who, a month ago, had never been to a park, Ben has certainly been making up for lost time lately!

This park even had a cute little woof-woof!

The see saw was a new one, too!

I am not sure he really got the point of this contraption, but it was certainly fun nonetheless!

Now that the warm weather is finally here, he can wear some of his fancy new summer clothes!

silly-grin

As usual, he think he is something pretty special!

Although he did NOT like being barefoot on the grass!

The Beach

This past weekend we were down in CT, and we took Ben to the ocean. It was a bit chilly… but beautiful!

big-truck

This is what would happen every time a big truck went rumbling by on the road. He can not have something be louder than him, you know.

swing

We did a little swinging, too….

girl-next-door

But he was way more interested in the little girl swinging next door!

Smart little bugger.

Ben finally figured out that if he drags his house over to the window and steps on it, he can see out and yell at stuff all by himself!  My arms will appreciate the rest.

Walking the Duck

Posted on

One of favorite birthday gifts was a duck from Rebecca! Although I did not think that he would know what to do with it right away, he sure did!  Like any boy, he did try to turn it into a hockey stick for a few whacks…

The Playground!

Posted on

This past weekend we took Ben down to the local State Park and low and behold, they built a playground since the last time we were there!

You have to walk in a ways to get to it, so we had the entire place to ourselves!
