Still Catching Up

I still have lots of pictures to catch up on, so here comes another big post!

Ben is now a coloring fool!

Well, he likes to play with the crayons, anyway!

He is turning into such a little boy…

A few weeks ago we took him to the water park in North Conway

Most of the time he just kind of stood at the edge, pointed, and yelled…

I think he won the award for biggest belly there, too!

Scooter`s favorite place to lay is between the coffee table and the couch. Ben`s favorite place to sit is on Scooter!

Ben is finally able to get on and off his train by himself

…and loves taking his frog for a ride!

This picture is a  little dark, but his 2nd favorite place to sit. His moose!

We did not actually get any pictures at the 4th of July parade we went to in Wolfeboro, but trust me, he enjoyed it! There was lots of clapping and pointing! He also enjoyed his first Yum Yum shop pastry that day!

At first Ben was pretty interested in the sparkler dad had…

…but really, that interest did not last very long!

The Picture People

We had an impromtu visit to The Picture People last week! Ben did plenty of smiling this time… the hard part was getting him to sit still long enough to take a picture!

Life has been hectic lately, to say the least…

A few weeks ago we took Ben to the beach for the first time this year. He LOVED the water!

White Lake State park is a great beach – beautiful scenery, and the the water is very shallow. Good for kiddos!

Spaghetti has been a BIG hit lately.  It was seldom that I cooked it since we are more ziti or rotini folks, but the slipperly strands are much more exciting to eat!

We have been having spaghetti much more often lately!

We are very lucky to have Neighbor Jen and Neighbor Jack. We get LOTS of hand-me-downs from Jack! Ben just got this great Red Sox jersey and hat (Daddy is pretty pleased).

Ben and I went to see Karleigh on her 4th birthday! Ben did a lot of squishy faces that day and not many smiles.

He was VERY impressed with this little red chair, especially with cupcake in hand!

And Karleigh showed him the important skill of dandilion blowing.

This is one of Ben`s favorite spots! I am not sure if Scooter appreciates it nearly as much, though..

While down in CT we went to visit a little farm where Ben got his first up-close-and-personal visit with animals other than dogs and cats.

He also got his first carousel ride…

AND his first lawnmower ride.

Ben hung out with his cousin Lincoln and we tried to get a good picture. Lincoln cooperated…

But taking the bottle from Ben was not the best idea!

Ben is definitely one cool little dude!

Tala graduated from 8th grade this year, so we had a BBQ on one of the few sunny days this past month!

and hung out with Grandma Hyatt while the big kids played whiffle ball.

This is another one of Ben`s favorite places, on the bed upstairs, looking out the window! He does not normally get to play with my phone, though, as he likes to throw it a bit too much…
