Josh brought out some of his Halloween goodies recently, and Ben went googly for the googly eyes !

Apparently the googly eyes bring out the rocker in Ben, too. Who knew?
Last weekend was our annual excursion to the Sandwich Fair! Ben came to the fair with us last year as well, but I do think he enjoyed himself much more this year!
He was simply amazed at the rides… the lights and the colors and the music! Here everyone is looking at Josh and Kalia on some ride that was apparently very high.
Ben got his first taste of fried dough! Although he does not look all that thrilled here, really, he was!
Ben did got to go on the Merry Go Round! All business for this boy, holding on tight !
Not to fear, though, as he had both Nana and Grandma Hyatt on there with him!
The tractors were up next and…needless to say, they were a big hit. It takes us a while to get through the riding lawn mower aisle at Home Depot because Ben has to get on every single one of them. The boys likes tractors!
Even better is a tractor with fried dough!
There was a great band playing, and Ben was one of few brave souls to dare the dance floor!
Watching the crowd was just as interesting as the band, however.
Sheep and goats and pigs, oh my!
Here Ben shows off his very impressive Sheep communication skills. He and the sheep have quite the conversation!
A couple of weekends ago Grandma Margaret and Poppy came up, Tala and Kalia came down, and we all went to Sherman Farm in Conway for some fall fun!
The biggest attraction there is the corn maze. It is quite large, as it took us a solid 45 minutes to ind our way through. Ben thought it was VERY cool.
He did lots of running!
He also did lots of corn-stalk-swinging.
He eventually did tire, though, and kept himself occupied by pulling my hair,
pointing on the right way to go,
and of course, waving to all his fans. Or maybe he was grabbing the corn stalks here. Either one works.
Besides the corn maze, Ben also rode the Sherman Farm tractor,
…was VERY interested in this pumpkin head fellow,
…got buried in a pile of corn,
…checked out some goats,
…told us which pumpkins to take home,
…traded leaves with Tala,
…and BEST of all, got to ride on the cool cow train! There were a dozen or so `cows` pulled by a tractor. Good times! Ben held on tight to that bell!
The lucky boy is blessed with great cousins, and got to go twice, once with each one!
