If you listen carefully, you can hear his ‘roar!’
No roars here… but some good cookin’!

Presents!! Zach had just woken up from his nap, and smiling is hard to do at that time of the day!
He really is excited!
Blocks! We love blocks!
They had to be tested out immediately, of course.
Seriously, he is happy. And chubby.
Once he knows we are going to eat, we get a teeny smile….
Ben tries on some of Grandma Hyatt’s presents!
Group shot!
Attempt #2!
This pic was actually from today, but it shows that those blocks go to good use! Zach did this all by himself! We might have a little architect on our hands!
Ben has been begging for WEEKS to decorate some gingerbread houses! It was finally time this weekend !
Look at that precision icing application!
Zach’s house DID have candy on it…
But he was more into the ‘eating’ than the ‘decorating!’
This is what happens when you ask a 3 year old to smile nicely next to his house.
This, too.
The finished work of art!
And the whole village!
We had snow for Halloween, so I guess it made sense that we had it for Thanksgiving, too! The boys were BEGGING to go out as soon as they woke up (….at 4:30….).
It was nice sticky snow, so they got their first real snow fort!
They were excited here…little did they know what was to come!
The snow melted in just a few days, but the boys can’t wait for the next snowstorm and the next snow fort!!
And….he writes!
Ben had been writing “A B C” lately, and getting pretty good at drawing suns….. but all of a sudden yesterday he sat himself at the kitchen table with a crayon and a piece of paper and wrote his name! Go Ben!!
Then Daddy started telling him how to spell other important words… (..Josh? Really?
)… and he’s a writer!
